About Me

Hi My name is Kara McEachron and I am from a small town, Ione, California. After graduating high school I chose to attend the University of Nevada, Reno where I am currently majoring in Psychology. After completing my Undergraduate degree, I plan on attending Graduate school and getting my Occupational Therapy degree so I can become a Pediatric Occupational therapist!

always known that I wanted to win with kids and make a positive difference on people’s lives. That is why Occupational Therapy is perfect for me because it is the perfect combination of those passions. It allows me to support children, help them reach important development milestones and improve their quality of life.

As a person I would describe myself as responsible, kind, and creative. I enjoy taking on new challenges. learning new things, and finding meaningful ways to be bale to help others. Overall my longe term goal is to make a positive impact on as many people as possible, especially children and families who need support.

Outside of academics I enjoy hanging out with my friends, traveling, going on adventures and spending time with my family. Traveling is a big passion of mine and I have a bucket list of places I want to go. My favorite place I have visited is New York City. I had so much fun and would love to go again.
